When Do Snow Blowers Go on Sale? Best Month to Buy 2026
When snow blower offers actually ran, from Toro, Ariens and EGO's own promotions pages and dated Wayback Machine captures, plus Toro's $50 off four gas Power Clear models, valid Oct 1 to 31, 2026. Checked Oct 22, 2026.
How we checked. Every offer on this page comes from the manufacturer's own promotions page, either read by us on Oct 22, 2026 (times are UTC) or in a dated Wayback Machine capture of that page. We didn't use store prices or third-party price trackers. Links on this page are plain links, not affiliate links. Offers change, so check the date next to each one.
Here is when Toro, Ariens and EGO actually listed snow blower offers on their own pages over the last two seasons, what Toro lists for October 2026, and how that lines up with Home Depot, Lowe's and Black Friday.
The short answer
- October to December, in the seasons we checked. Toro's promotions page listed snow blower offers valid in October, November and December of both 2024 and 2025. That's a pattern we observed in Toro's own dated listings, not a promise about 2026.
- If you want one month: November. Both seasons had a Toro snow blower offer valid in November (Nov 18 to 30, 2024 and Nov 1 to 30, 2025), and November 2025 had the most Toro snow blower offers we could confirm for a single month: 7 (Toro's page, captured Nov 17, 2025).
- October 2026: Toro lists $50 off four gas Power Clear models (38472, 38473, 38474 and 38475), valid on purchases from Oct 1 to Oct 31, 2026 (as of Oct 22, 2026, 14:03 UTC).
- By March, Toro had moved on to mowers. The Mar 15, 2026 capture of Toro's page listed mower and trimmer offers and no snow blower offers.

Each row is an offer as Toro's promotions page listed it, with the dates Toro gave and the capture where we read it. Toro's wording is "$X off suggested promo price"; its terms say "See participating retailers for details" and "Discounted Price will be shown on retailer's site."

What that adds up to, month by month:
- September: in 2025, Toro's four battery (60V MAX) snowblower offers started Sept 1 and ran to Feb 28, 2026.
- October: an offer in all three years we checked: Power Max models in October 2024, Power Max models from Oct 1 to Nov 30, 2025, and gas Power Clear models in October 2026.
- November: offers in both seasons. Seven Toro snowblower offers were valid in November 2025, the most we could confirm for any month.
- December: offers in both seasons, including $150 off select Power Clear models (Dec 1 to 30, 2024) and $150 off select SnowMaster models (Dec 1 to 31, 2025).
- January and February: in the Jan 8 and Feb 9, 2025 captures, every snow blower offer Toro listed had already ended (the last on Dec 30, 2024). In the 2025 season, the only Toro snowblower offers still valid after Dec 31, 2025 were the four battery offers (to Feb 28, 2026), and the Snow BOGO had wrapped up by the Jan 1, 2026 capture.
- March: no snow blower offers in the Mar 15, 2026 capture.
Wayback Machine captures are snapshots. An offer that started and ended between two captures wouldn't show up, so these are the offers we could confirm, not a complete list.
Toro's October 2026 offer: $50 off four gas Power Clear models
Toro's promotions page says: "$50 off suggested promo price on select gas Power Clear snow blowers. Models 38472, 38473, 38474, and 38475. Valid on purchases made from October 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. See participating retailers for details." We read it on Oct 22, 2026 at 14:03 UTC. Toro's own product pages showed these prices at 14:03 UTC the same day:
| Model | Toro's product name | Toro's promo price | Toro's listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 38472 | 18" Power Clear 518 ZR gas snow blower | $529.00 | $579.00 |
| 38473 | 18" Power Clear 518 ZE gas snow blower | $579.00 | $629.00 |
| 38474 | 18" Power Clear 518 ZR gas snow blower | $549.00 | $599.00 |
| 38475 | 18" Power Clear 518 ZE Electric Start gas snow blower | $599.00 | $649.00 |
As of Oct 22, 2026, 14:03 UTC. Toro's product pages marked all four "Not Available Online" and sent shoppers to a dealer or retailer, so the price at a store can differ. Two things worth knowing:
- Match the model number, not the name. 38472 and 38474 are both called "Power Clear 518 ZR" on Toro's pages, but they have different model numbers and different listed prices.
- The same models were on sale before. 38474 and 38475 were in Toro's $50 off offer valid Nov 18 to 30, 2024.
Ariens and EGO: what their own pages showed
- Ariens: offers before the season, none in winter. Its promotions page listed "Pre-season savings" on its commercial snow products, with discounts up to $200 off select Sno-Thro models from Aug. 15 to Oct. 15, 2024 (capture of Oct 12, 2024), and a free two-year Sno-Thro warranty extension with a $50 accessory purchase on qualifying two-stage models from Aug. 30 to Sept. 20, 2026 (capture of Sept 14, 2026). The page said "No promotions at this time" in the captures of Jan 14, 2025, Feb 21, 2025, Dec 7, 2025 and Jan 24, 2026, and when we read it on Oct 22, 2026 at 14:04 UTC.
- EGO: EGO's own sale page listed no snow blowers in any capture we read (Dec 9, 2024; Sept 11, 2025; Nov 27, 2025; Jan 25, 2026; Feb 25, 2026) or when we read it on Oct 22, 2026 at 14:05 UTC. For an EGO snow blower, compare the stores you would buy from rather than waiting on EGO's sale page.
Home Depot and Lowe's
We didn't find a snow blower sale calendar published by Home Depot or Lowe's. From the manufacturer side, Toro's offers say "See participating retailers for details" and "Discounted Price will be shown on retailer's site." So during a Toro offer window, check that the store's listing for that exact model number shows the discount.
- Our Home Depot deals page and Lowe's deals page collect verified finds and each store's policies.
- In store, Home Depot's yellow-tag clearance has its own price endings. See Home Depot clearance price endings.
- Both stores' 2026 Black Friday sale dates, taken from their own pages, are on our Black Friday 2026 dates page.
Black Friday or end of season?
Black Friday is Nov 27, 2026. In both seasons we checked, Toro had snow blower offers valid on Black Friday: the $50 off Power Clear offer ran Nov 18 to 30, 2024 (Black Friday was Nov 29, 2024), and the Nov 17, 2025 capture listed offers valid through at least Nov 30, 2025 (Black Friday was Nov 28, 2025). Whether Toro runs a November 2026 offer isn't known yet; its page lists only the October offer as of Oct 22, 2026.
End-of-season offers didn't show up in Toro's listings: its snow blower offers ended by Dec 30, 2024 in the 2024 season and by Feb 28, 2026 in the 2025 season, and the Mar 15, 2026 capture had none. Markdowns on leftover stock are up to each store, and we haven't verified a month for them. For how to hunt store clearance, see the best clearance deals online.
Before you buy: a quick price check
- Match the model number on the store listing to the one in the offer.
- Check the offer dates on the manufacturer's own promotions page, and the date you're buying.
- Compare with the manufacturer's listed price on its product page, not only a store's "was" price. Our deal verification checklist covers the rest.
- Read the fine print. Toro's Snow BOGO said "while supplies last" and had wrapped up by Jan 1, 2026, two months before its listed Feb 28, 2026 end date.

Quick answers
What month do snow blowers go on sale?
In Toro's own promotions listings, snow blower offers were valid in October, November and December of both 2024 and 2025, and its battery models had offers from Sept 1, 2025 to Feb 28, 2026. That's a pattern from dated captures of Toro's page, not a promise for 2026. Checked Oct 22, 2026.
What is the best month to buy a snow blower?
Based on the manufacturer offers we could date, November. Toro had a snow blower offer valid in November in both 2024 and 2025, and November 2025 had 7 Toro snowblower offers valid, the most we could confirm for any month (Toro's page, captured Nov 17, 2025).

When do snow blowers go on sale at Home Depot or Lowe's?
