$100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway: Official Rules

The short version: the draw happens when @PriceBugAlerts reaches 500 followers on X. If 500 isn't reached by Nov 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the giveaway closes with no prize. Existing entries still count.
1. Sponsor The giveaway is sponsored by Price Bug Alerts (pricebugalerts.com, @PriceBugAlerts on X) ("Sponsor"), East Tennessee, USA. Contact: Sloane Glitchford, Founder, [email protected].
2. Eligibility Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, contractors and agents of Sponsor, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
3. Entry period and the 500-follower condition The giveaway started when the official giveaway post was published on X by @PriceBugAlerts on October 15, 2026. Entries are accepted until the closing date, Nov 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET ("Entry Period"). The drawing happens only if @PriceBugAlerts reaches 500 followers on X during the Entry Period. If it does not, the giveaway ends at the closing date with no drawing and no prize awarded. Entries received before these rules were updated remain valid and count toward the drawing. Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.
4. How to enter On X: during the Entry Period, follow @PriceBugAlerts on X and repost the official giveaway post. Tagging a friend is optional: it is not required to enter and does not earn an extra entry.
Free entry without an X account: email [email protected] during the Entry Period with the subject line "PBA Giveaway Entry" and include your name and email address. Email entries have the same chance of winning as X entries.
Limit one (1) entry per person, whichever method you use. Entries made with bots, scripts, fake accounts, multiple accounts or multiple emails are void. No purchase, payment or affiliate-link click is required.
5. Winner selection and odds If the 500-follower condition is met, one (1) winner will be chosen in a random drawing from all eligible entries (X and email combined) within 72 hours after @PriceBugAlerts reaches 500 followers. Ineligible, bot, fake and duplicate entries are removed first and the reasons are logged. Eligible entries are listed in order of entry, and one is chosen with a seeded random number generator. The seed and the entrant count are recorded and kept for one year. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Winner notification The potential winner will be notified by direct message on X from @PriceBugAlerts (or by email for email entries). They must reply within 72 hours of notification with an email address for prize delivery and confirm that they meet the eligibility rules. If the potential winner doesn't respond in time, is ineligible, or the prize can't be delivered, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn the same way. Sponsor will never ask for payment, passwords or card details.
7. Prize and approximate retail value (ARV) One (1) prize: one $100.00 USD Amazon.com eGift Card, delivered by email. ARV: $100.00. Total ARV of all prizes: $100.00. Sponsor buys and delivers the prize only after the 500-follower condition is met and a winner is confirmed. The gift card is subject to Amazon's gift card terms. No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion.
8. Taxes The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state and local taxes on the prize. The prize value is under $600, so Sponsor does not expect to issue an IRS Form 1099.
9. Publicity release Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize the winner agrees that Sponsor may announce their X handle (or first name, for email entries) publicly, including on X and pricebugalerts.com, without further compensation. Sponsor will not publish the winner's email address.
10. Limitation of liability and general conditions By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final. To the extent allowed by law, participants release Sponsor, X Corp. and Amazon.com, Inc. and their affiliates from any liability, loss or damage arising from the giveaway or the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries, email delivery problems, technical failures or X platform outages. Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the giveaway or breaks these rules. If the giveaway can't run as planned because of fraud, technical problems or other causes beyond Sponsor's control, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend it and, if it does, draw from eligible entries received before the problem.
11. Privacy Personal information collected for the giveaway (X handle, or name and email for email entries) is used only to run the giveaway and deliver the prize, as described in the Price Bug Alerts privacy policy at pricebugalerts.com/privacy/. Entrant data is deleted 90 days after the drawing, or 90 days after the closing date if no drawing happens.
12. Governing law These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Platform release This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with X Corp. or Amazon.com, Inc. X and Amazon are not responsible for the giveaway. Participants release X Corp. from all liability related to it. Amazon is not a sponsor; the Amazon.com eGift Card is simply the prize.
14. Winner's name For the winner's X handle or first name, email [email protected] within 30 days after the drawing.
