Spirit Halloween clearance, coupons & Spirit Christmas 2026
Spirit Halloween is a seasonal store, so the deals work differently from year-round retailers: a short clearance window right after Halloween, then many locations change over to Spirit Christmas. Everything below is labeled with where it comes from.
Spirit Halloween clearance timing
- Reported by The Krazy Coupon Lady: 25% off on November 1, then 50% off in-store on November 2, reported as the last day of the sale before stores close for the season.
- Reported by CouponCabin: Spirit Halloween is among the retailers that start marking down Halloween items on November 1.
Only one source gives specific Spirit percentages and dates, and Spirit doesn't publish a clearance schedule, so treat them as a guide. In 2026, Halloween is on a Saturday, so November 1 is a Sunday. For Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens timing, see our after-Halloween clearance 2026 guide.
Spirit Christmas 2026
- How many stores: 44 locations across 15 states, "from New England to Florida and west to the Great Lakes," in its third season (Spirit Christmas press release (Oct 8, 2026); also USA TODAY and Chain Store Age).
- When they open: five stores open Saturday, Oct 17, 2026, in Mays Landing, Riverdale and Marlton, NJ; Winter Garden, FL; and Youngstown, OH. The remaining 39 are scheduled for the first week of November after they change over from Spirit Halloween (USA TODAY, citing a company spokesperson).
- Conversions: a company spokesperson told Retail Dive that 39 Spirit Halloween stores will become Spirit Christmas locations.

How to save at Spirit Halloween
- Get codes from Spirit itself. Spirit Halloween Guest Services says valid codes are usually in its promotional emails (sign up at the bottom of its site), the promotion banner on its website, and its Facebook page. It also says codes on third-party coupon sites are "most likely invalid."
- Give your email in-store. The same page says you can provide your email at checkout in a Spirit Halloween store to get promotions.
- One coupon per order. Spirit's Spirit Halloween coupons page says only one coupon or promotion can be applied per order.
- Time it. If you can wait, the reported Nov 1-2 clearance window is the deepest discount we found reported (see above).
- Price-check before you buy. Compare the same costume or decoration at other stores, and check the final total with tax and shipping. Our guide on how to verify a deal is real walks through it.
