- Walgreens, reported by Rebel Dealz: reached 90% by November 4 in 2025, and some items rang up lower at the register than the shelf tag showed.

- Lowe's, reported by The Krazy Coupon Lady: markdowns reportedly start at 50% about two weeks before Halloween and reach up to 75% as October 31 gets closer. Lowe's reportedly doesn't hold Halloween stock into November, so its clearance mostly happens before Halloween. Rebel Dealz reports the same, but calls the tracking older.
Conflict: TimeToBuying claims Home Depot marks leftover stock down 80-90% after November 5. Rebel Dealz says no 90% tier has been recorded at Home Depot for Halloween. We found nothing that backs up the 90% claim, so plan on 75% as the floor.
